Per Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 28, s. 2018, titled Policy and Guidelines on Oplan Kalusugan sa Department of Education (OK sa DepEd), the Department of Education Division of Camiguin conducted a One Health Week for School Year 2022-2023 to showcase milestones and initiatives to support learners’ welfare.

A weeklong celebration was held from October 31 to November 4, 2022, with concurrent activities including medical, dental, and nursing services, checkups for teachers, students, and parents at Binunsaran Elementary School, and a talk on basic hygiene with Dr. Bagaloyos, a dentist who also administered fluoride varnish. Along with the events, the National Drug Education Program (NDEP) is holding a poster-making contest with the topic “Education and awareness against drug addiction: Keys to a better and cleaner future,” while select guidance counselor designates are also given a planned presentation on Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH), Basic Life Support (BLS), and the Mental Health Program of the Department of Education.

The emphasis of this year's theme, "Pinalakas na Oplan Kalusugan Sa DepEd, Pinatatag na Healthy Learning Institution," was on the value of having healthy educational institutions and ensuring that the pupils who attend school every day will have healthy lives.
The Schools Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) Chief Lailane E. Lopena, PhD, along with the Medical Officer III, Jackielyn O. Din, MD, Dentist II, Dr. Michelle Anne Bagaloyos, and the DepEd CGM Nurses, revealed major updates and activities in support of OK sa DepEd's six (6) flagship programs. DIO | ECJ
