Francis Cesar B. Bringas, Assistant Secretary, Field Operations DepEd Central Office said the aforesaid statement  during the opening program of the 2024 Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) at Cong PPR Sports Complex, May 13, to inspire and remind the athletes why they joined the regional meet.

Bringas further said that joining the NMRAA is a revelation of the athletes’ strengths and at the same time a revelation of their weaknesses.

“Definitely those who will earn medals in the coming week will have honed their strengths and they will serve as their motivation to sustain their goals and wishes and to strive more,” he added.

He further noted that the coming week could also be a revelation of their weaknesses and say to themselves that it is their chance to grow.

“For you to become the best that you can be you have to set your limits forever and set your limits higher so that you can be better than your best,” he likewise said.

He also encouraged the athletes who will represent Region X in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2024 in Cebu City this coming July to do their best in order to rank higher than the seventh place they  garnered  last year.

“These island games  are  to be memorable for all of you because I know that Camiguin has provided you with the best accommodations and the most positive way of welcoming and entertaining you in their island,” he further noted.

He also expressed his great appreciation and commendation to the wonderful hosting of Camiguin of the 2024 NMRAA and the unity that the Camiguinons have shown to make this occasion a successful one.

“ To all of you, you should say to yourselves I’ll to enjoy in my stay in Camiguin, goodluck to all of you, play fairly, play honestly, play safely and don’t forget to have fun,” he finally said. by: Love Joy N. Sacupayo
