With the theme, “K to 12 Graduates: Molded Through a Resilient Educational Foundation”, your graduation is a testimony of your hard work, dedication, commitment and resilience amidst the challenges that came your way. You have persevered and, here you are now, ready to receive your certificates/diplomas, in the presence of your parents, teachers, DepEd officials and your community.

My salute goes to your parents and the other members of the family who guided and motivated you to do your best, especially during those pandemic times when education was really a challenge for everybody.

 

And of course, your teachers are very proud of you. You represent their accomplishment in their ministry of teaching. Your teachers have been steadfast in following the DepEd’s vision, mission, and goals for you – which is to offer quality basic education to the learners. Hopefully, this will be strengthened with our new battle cry, MATATAG, so that the learners will personify Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa.

 

Today, you celebrate a milestone in your lives. Commencement exercises signal new beginnings. For the elementary graduates, it is the start of another academic journey towards finishing secondary education; for the grade 10 movers, it means tackling senior high school. For the senior high school graduates, it is the preparation for higher learning, or into entrepreneurship, or into the world of work.

My dear graduates, I encourage you to strive harder in your future endeavors and become contributors to the growth of our nation. Most of all, you should always be thankful to God Almighty who has been with you all the way in your journey as learners.
